Hello readers! I am currently a student who attends Catawba College. I will be a senior in the fall of 2016. I have played sports my whole life, and I am currently playing football for Catawba. Now I know people can be quite skeptical of random strangers giving them fitness tips just because they play a sport. They may be giving tips and are not good at the sport they are playing. So I will list some credentials of mine, so that you may decide if my fitness advice is worth taking or not. I have played sports my entire life. I participated in track, wrestling, and football in high school. I was fortunate enough to earn a scholarship to Catawba College to play football for them. I was 6' 1," 185 pounds when I first entered Catawba in 2013. I am currently 6' 1,"215 pounds and I am a starting linebacker for Catawba. My football team had a 9-3 record last year and won a conference ring. I led the team in tackles for that year. So I am no stranger to hard work. I am majoring in exercise science, and will receive my bachelors next year. I workout no less than 3 times a week and my supplement of choice is whey protein.
I hope this will give you a better understanding of who I am, and who you are getting your advice from. I am not a fitness professional. I am simply a student athlete giving information that is hopefully helpful to whoever is reading it.
Thank You! Hope this helps!
Hellow Mr. Lackey you offer good tips on your blog. You are in great shape. Now my question is what classes would you have to take for exercise science?.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your compliment. I have completed various courses that give great information about the body and how it works. Courses that I have completed, relating to exercise and nutrition, include strength/weight lifting techniques, anatomy & physiology, health science, intro to athletic training, motor learning, prescriptive fitness, and intro to athletic health care. Thanks for commenting!
